Terms of Use

Conditions that govern the use of Ordenala and the purchase of your QR Menu for your business.

Last updated: June 14, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Ordenala. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of our platform to create, publish, and manage digital menus with a QR code for restaurants, bars, and hotels.

2. Services and features

Ordenala lets users create and manage digital QR menus, including without limitation:

  • Digital menu: Dish groups, descriptions, portions, variable prices, and image gallery.
  • Locations: Venue areas (bar, terrace, dining room) with specific messages and prices.
  • Brand: Brand colors, logo, hours, social links, and business presentation.
  • Allergens: Official icons, filters, and search so your guests can check clearly.
  • Languages: Menu translation according to your plan and automatic detection of the device language.
  • QR code: Generation of a custom QR to print on tables, the bar, or promotional materials.

3. Pricing and subscription

Ordenala operates on a monthly subscription model (Basic, Standard, and Premium plans). Payment is processed securely through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.

Grace period after cancellation

If you cancel your subscription, we keep your QR menu data for 3 months so you can reactivate the service. During cancellation the menu is no longer public and the subdomain or path becomes inactive.

We may update prices for new customers. If you already have an active subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice before applying changes to your plan.

4. Delivery and access

After payment is confirmed successfully, you will immediately receive:

  • The public URL of your QR menu (internal path or subdomain depending on your plan).
  • Access to the QR code generated from your admin dashboard.
  • Credentials to access the admin dashboard to edit dishes, prices, visibility, and download your QR templates (PDF).

5. Refund policy

You can cancel your active subscription at any time from your admin dashboard. No refunds will be issued for voluntary cancellation. We will only refund the subscription amount for the current period if a technical error attributable to Ordenala prevents you from using your QR menu.

If you find a fault that prevents you from creating, publishing, or accessing your menu, contact support as soon as possible so we can review your case.

6. User responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of prices, allergens, hours, and other information shown to your guests. You must hold the rights to the images and text you upload.

Ordenala may unpublish menus that break the law, include misleading information, or violate these terms.

7. Prohibited content

It is forbidden to use the platform for illegal or defamatory content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content that misleads about ingredients, allergens, or prices. We reserve the right to suspend access without refund in serious cases.

8. Intellectual property

Ordenala is our platform: the software, design, and brand are owned by Ordenala. The content you add to your menu — text, photos, and business data — remains yours.

9. Contact and support

For questions about your subscription, billing, or QR menu, write to us from the contact page.
