Create a QR menu without signing up — pay only when you publish

Most “book a demo” menu tools lose you before you have typed a dish. They want an email, a password, a call. You wanted to see if the digital menu looks like your restaurant.

Ordenala is built the other way around. You create the QR menu first. You sign up when you are ready to publish and pay. Until then, the work is yours to judge on the preview — not on a sales deck.

Friction before value is why owners stall

You already run a room. You do not have an afternoon for onboarding.

If the first screen is a form, you close the tab and reprint one more time. That is rational. You have been burned by software that looked fine in a screenshot and clumsy once the real carta was inside it.

The honest test is: can you put your logo, your dishes, your bar vs terrace prices, and see it on a phone mockup without creating an account? If yes, you will know in minutes whether this restaurant QR is for you.

What you can build before anyone asks for an email

On the create flow you set up the business and the carta:

  • Logo, colors, a cover image, hours, map, social links
  • Locations (bar, terrace, dining room) with their own prices and optional messages
  • Groups of dishes, with photos, portions, and the official 14 allergen icons
  • Languages — you translate names and descriptions; the interface is already translated, up to 10 languages on Premium

Guests will never need an app. You should not need a login to find that out.

The preview is the point. If the menu does not look like your place, you have not spent money and you have not handed over a card.

Publish is when the account exists

When the digital menu is right, you choose how it goes live:

  • Basic: an internal path. Fast to a working QR on the tables.
  • Standard: subdomain plus an info site, so the restaurant has a URL people can remember and search can treat as a site — plus more locations and languages.
  • Premium: subdomain and info site, up to 8 locations, up to 10 languages, more photos per dish, guest reviews to the email you choose.

Checkout is the moment you register. Not the moment you were curious.

If you leave and come back before paying, the create flow keeps your progress. You are not punished for going to service and returning after the rush.

Why this is not a free forever toy

“Without signup” is not a gimmick to dump unfinished menus on the internet. Unpublished work stays yours. The public QR and the occupied path or subdomain exist when the subscription is active.

That split matters. You get the IKEA effect — you already built the carta — without a public half-broken page. Guests only see what you decided to ship.

The QR you print is the last physical step

Once published, you print the code (with your logo on Standard and Premium). Tables, bar, hotel lobby. After that, updates happen in the dashboard: prices, sold-out dishes, photos, translations. No reprint. No guest download.

The same link works on Instagram and WhatsApp. You did not create three menus. You created one and chose when it became real.

If other tools asked for a meeting before a preview, skip the meeting.

Create my QR menu now — no account until you publish. If it looks like your restaurant, pick a plan. If it doesn’t, you lost an hour, not a contract.
